The 2019 WSF Journalism Award is open to work published between June 1, 2017 and June 30, 2019. Entries must be available online from date of submission. The award is open to a written-word news report on a current human rights issue. This can be print or online.
Submissions close on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
Judges (to be announced) are a group of distinguished journalists, academics and human rights experts. Entries will be judged on several criteria, including relevance to subject matter, impact on the problem highlighted and courage and determination of the journalist. Entrants must be able to authenticate their work.
The decision of the judging panel is final.
