Register here: https://goo.gl/forms/vXKcUpiCfOsxEy8t2
Time: Tuesday, March 6th at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Venue: The Press Club Brussels Europe, Rue Froissart 95, 1040 Brussels, Belgium
Throughout history, women empowerment has gone a long way. Yet often classic feminism most strongly represents Western idea of female emancipation, which requires critical evaluation when it comes to support instruments and the financial aid.
The European Union has shown consistent efforts to support the progress of sustainable development and women empowerment worldwide. Ensuring that the external policies of the European Union are sensitive and adapted to the local needs are imperative to achieve such goals.
The event Gender Inequality in the EU Institutions will bring together experts, academics and practitioners from the EU Institutions to discuss the ongoing progress in women empowerment and gender equality in the EU Institutions, and the options and strategies for a more effective implementation of internationally agreed goals and commitments with regard to these challenges.
Are you working for women empowerment and women rights? Do you have an idea for a project or an event? Through constructive and interactive dialogue, the participants are encouraged to share different perspectives on international and national responsibilities and involvement and create future projects and events together.
